It's tempting to treat performance marketing as a media-buying exercise — pick a platform, set a budget, watch the dashboard. But the campaigns that actually move revenue almost always win or lose somewhere else entirely: the landing page, the offer, or the follow-up after the click.

Media spend can only amplify what's already working. It can't fix a weak offer.

A great ad pointed at a bad landing page is just an expensive way to lose someone's attention.

Before increasing budget, the more useful question is usually: where exactly are people dropping off, and why? Fixing that leak is almost always cheaper than buying more traffic to pour into it.

Performance marketing done well is a system — creative, targeting, landing experience and follow-up all pulling in the same direction.
