Who we are
Foolideas is a creative marketing agency based at Foolideas, Magazine Rd, near Party Office, New Town, Cooch Behar, West Bengal 736101, India. In this policy “we”, “us” and “our” mean Foolideas, and “you” means anyone who visits foolideas.in or contacts us through it. We handle personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws.
What information we collect
We only collect what you choose to share with us:
- Contact details such as your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number when you message us on WhatsApp or request a call through the booking calendar (the calendar opens WhatsApp with your details; the website itself does not store what you type).
- Call bookings made through the calendar on our homepage: your name, email, chosen date, time and meeting length. The website does not store these; they are placed into a WhatsApp message that you choose to send us.
- Project information you send us about your business, brand assets or marketing goals.
- Basic technical data such as IP address, browser and device type that third-party services (listed below) receive automatically when the page loads.
We do not ask for payment details, government ID numbers or health information through this website. Please do not send sensitive personal data unless we have specifically asked for it as part of a signed project.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and send quotes or proposals.
- To schedule and hold calls or meetings.
- To deliver and manage the services you hire us for.
- To keep basic business records required by law (for example invoices).
- To improve our website and services.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not send marketing messages unless you have asked for them. You can opt out of any message from us at any time.
Cookies and third-party services
Foolideas does not use its own advertising or tracking cookies at the moment. The website loads some features from trusted third parties, who may set cookies or receive your IP address under their own privacy policies:
- Google Fonts (typefaces)
- cdnjs and jsDelivr (animation scripts)
- WhatsApp (when you confirm a call booking)
- WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn (when you click their links)
- Google Maps (when you open our location)
If we add analytics or advertising tools in future, we will update this policy first.
Sharing your information
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run our business (for example email, scheduling, cloud storage and, for client projects, ad platforms you authorise), and only as much as they need. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. Client project records are kept for as long as the engagement lasts and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, to correct or update it, or to delete it, and you can withdraw consent you have given. Children
Our website and services are meant for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
